More about choosing plates

Bagasse plates are moulded from sugarcane pulp (bagasse), a by-product of sugar refining. They are smooth, light and off-white, TÜV-certified home and industrial compostable and certified PFAS-free. Sizes 17, 23, 25 and 30 cm, from €0.097 per plate incl. VAT.

Palm leaf plates are pressed from fallen areca palm leaves, 100% natural and plastic-free. They are stiffer and heavier, and every plate has its own grain. Round 23 cm, square 15 to 25 cm, a 3-compartment plate, a deep soup plate and a bear-shaped kids plate, from €0.25 per plate incl. VAT.

Both materials take hot and cold food. For buffets and street food, bagasse keeps the cost per guest low. For weddings, catering and plated dishes, palm leaf gives a natural, wood-like look on the table.

Plates with 3 or 6 compartments are under Menu plates.
